HeavyRoc.com is dedicated to the promotion and uniting of the Rochester music scene. The main
goal of the site is to bring together the members and fans of local bands. We here at HeavyRoc.com are
fans of all type of heavy music, thusly our site is open to anything in the realm of hardcore, metal, punk,
alternative and anything else that is deemed to be "heavy." Additionally, we are open to not only Rochester,
but Buffalo and Syracuse bands that wish to become part of the Rochester music community.
HeavyRoc.com aims to keep the people of Rochester (and surrounding areas) abreast of the latest events
in Rochester through our events calendar. We also promote local bands through our band listings, Band of the Month. Lastly, we offer a means of discussion on the topic of the local music scene and whatever else our members decide to talk about on our message board.
