HeavyRoc.com will do its best to not limit the content and the coverage of the site. Although, we are only a few people, so we ask the help of you, the members of the local music scene to contribute content for the site. Each page contains a means of submitting information for the site, whether it be a show announcement, your band’s link, requesting an interview or requesting a review. Bands HeavyRoc.com reserves the right to not add a band to the list. Not being added to the site can be the result of the following: us being unable to locate a bio or music that sufficiently demonstrates that the band is of a heavy genre, not being from a region that we currently support, not filling out the proper information, being a cover band or any other reason that we deem proper. We require a band name, genre, e-mail and contact name, but we would like as much information as possible. We serve the greater Rochester, Buffalo and Syracuse areas. We also list bands from the Southern Tier, which is, more or less, the area running along the Pennsylvania border from Jamestown to Binghamton. If you would like to have a link to an MP3, it must be a direct link. A link to your MP3 page is not acceptable. If you would like some help with hosting your song, send us an e-mail and we will help find you a spot. Band of the Month The Band of the Month is chosen by a panel of judges. The band is chosen by from a group of bands that submit information for consideration. Bands that have an event or some other news worthy item will be considered for the award. In order to be considered for Band of the Month, you must have our link on your website and it must be a clearly visible link.
